The Heartbeat Of Steve & Lana

Both Steve and Lana shared a passion for missions.

When Steve and Lana were married, they shared this ministry partnership as soulmates and a united passion for ministering the healing power of Jesus.

The ministry’s vision has always been to bring healing through the love of Jesus to those who are broken and bruised, particularly within the body of Christ.

It leads through prayer, bringing people into the power and presence of God and helping them discover their continued God-given destiny.

Our Mission Outreach Around The World

Encouragement Ministries, Inc. continues to support long-term and short-term missionaries and missionary projects at home and abroad with project endeavors in Africa, Thailand, India and more.

Every servant of Christ is called to be committed to the “Great Commission” of missionary outreach.

They have Bible colleges and training camps in many countries in Africa, and they have planted churches that are now planting even more churches.

Ministry To The Widow

Lana’s loss of her life partner and soulmate, Steve, has brought new realities into her life. Since Steve went to be with the Lord in February 2022, she has experienced how difficult it can be to live life as a widow and recover from such a loss.

Lana wants others to know that God is truly the only way to “turn mourning into joy.” She shares the hope and healing that God has for the widow and how much He loves them.

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

James 1:27 (NIV)

Lana helps guide churches on reaching out to their widow community and gives practical ways to establish a widow ministry.

  • Helping the loneliness
  • Helping the grief
  • Ministry to the widow incorporates body, mind, and spirit.
  • God turning the mourning into joy!
  • Connecting with other widows for support, teaching, and growing.

Thirty Years Of Missions Work

God placed the heartbeat for missions in Lana’s heart at the age of 16. She had the privilege of training and leading church youth drama teams for many years, ministering overseas to countries like France, England, Russia, and the Netherlands. She is committed to wherever the Lord may call her and is open to opportunities that arise.

Through Encouragement Ministries, Inc., Lana and her late husband, Rev. Steven A. Bach, served as pastors and missionary evangelists for three decades, conducting Marriage Seminars, Pastor Seminars, and church conferences across the United States and overseas. The Lord opened doors of ministry for them around the world.
